server ML 150 T G2 : Hot Swap Disk SATA RAID1
and the tecnical support have changed the disk failure.The technician has said to me that this HOT SWAP disks do not have to be change with server power on.Is just true??

which controller are you using?
are you talking about:
HP ProLiant ML150 Generation 2 (G2)

If I change a failure disk with server poweron
I don't rebuild RAID 1.
Where can I found information about this situation?
The disk mounted is (hot plug) but if i change it, the raid don't recostruction

but the controller it's not "hot-swap".
so you if you wanto to change a failed Hd and rebuid the raid one, you have to do the operation "off-line".
with the server switched off.
the rebuild process will start when youo power-on again the system.
other inforation more than the quick spec, I haven't.
