server hangs or rebooting automatically

server with smart array 431 controller running windows 4.0 sevice pack 6 and exchange 5.5 sevice pack 4 .Sometimes (frequently) i have a hang up or a blue sreen saying that compaq management driver have detected Nt bugcheck prior to this boot.
In compaq managemaent log viewer i have also this error: "Uncoverable system error " and "blue sreen trap (Nt bugcheck data =stop:0x000000A ......"

Maybe the problem is linked to hadware or sofware , i don't know. Any reply

In order to rule out hardware as being the culprit, you can access the system partition utilities ( f10 when prompted) and run diagnostics. Select Prompted diags, have it test all but cdrom and floppy and select 4 passes. If it finds any hardware failures, please call a technician at 1-800-ok-compaq.
