swapping a ram Dl 580 g5 to 380 g5 procedure

 

Hi all,

 

Kindly tell the RAM module for the HP-DL580G5 and HP-DL380G5 whether we can swap the RAM module from these servers. Kindly revert back as as possible.

 

Note: If documents available, Kindly provide it.

hii,

you can not swap all the modules, generally they support DDR2/PC2, but they may have some restrictions on some DIMMS. SO please check compatibility in partsurfer.hp.com
