Anti Viros prtection on server

We have a proliant ML150 server which has Computer Associates protection installed but it is a real pain, because it stops almost everything. I use Solidworks for CAD which allows you to transfer the licence over the internet, but the CA software prevents me from doing this.

Is there any better and simpler software to suit a server that is effective?

Hi,

I tried most of the Antivirus solutions, but personally, i prefer Avira, a German product, so lite on you machine and simplet o use.

Also, you can exclude process/Application and its child files so it gives easy of customization.
