Application failed to initialize
I have a new ProLiant ML110 running W2k3. I'm trying to install an application that uses eLicense to obtain the license. When I try to run setup I get an error message "The application failed to initialize properly (0xc0000005) . . " I thought I had corrupted a dll or other file so I reformatted and reinstalled the OS. No luck. With nothing on the machine but the OS I still get the same error. It only happens on this machine. Any ideas as to why?

Re: Application failed to initialize
I found the problem. The Data Execution Prevention (DEP) settings were preventing the application from running.
