HDDs not detected in BIOS - Proliant DL 180 G5
Hi,
I've tried lots of different BIOS options, but I still can't get our brand new Proliant DL 180 G5 to detect any Harddisks.
With the hard disks came a notice that this type of server needed a specific BIOS version before installing them.
Fearing to break the disks I did not try them before the update.
So I flashed the BIOS to version O19 (04/22/2009), powered down, plugged in the disks in slots 1 & 2 (according to the sticker on top) and powered up again.
But no matter which BIOS setting I tried the disks would not show up during POST or in BIOS.
Can anyone point me in the right direction please.
Thanks in advance, David.
If I need to provide any additional info, I will do so asap.
