ML115 and PCI-E SC11Xe Host Bus Adapter slow scanning speed
I have an ML115 G5 connected via the SC11Xe HBA to an Inotec Scanner. For some reason its very slow transfer the images from the scanner.
We used an Adaptec card in the old server and a registry modification that incresed the SCSI speed. Dword: MaximumSGList to a value of 0x80
Unfortunalty the Adaptec 29160 card does not work in the ML115 it seems to conflict with the Nvidia Raid and the system won't boot.
Does anyone know where I would add the MaximumSGList value on the SC11Xe or offer any advice how to increse the SCSI transfer rate?
Thansk in advance.
Jay
