PCI Video Card on Proliant ML350 G3 server
I need dual monitor support on this server, but it only comes with onboard Video. Only normal 32-bit PCI slot is occupied by the IDE controller (internal IDE doesn't support UltraDMA100 DVD writer I have to use in this box). Can I get a univerasal PCI Video card and use it in the 64-bit 3.3-volt PCI slot? SAPPHIRE ATI RADEON 7000 looks like a good candidate but I don't know if it will work in this Proliant server. Can anyone offer me an advice? Thanks a lot!

Yes. The 64 bit slots are backwards compatible.

Thanks for the reply!
Has anyone actually had any success with PCI Video cards on this server?
