Windows Server 2003 only detects 1 CPU on PL 5500 (P12)
I am upgrading an old Proliant 5500 dual Xeon 550 to Windows Server 2003. I chose "Other" from the SmartStart CD and did a manual installation. I have read a Microsoft KB article regarding Windows 2000 setup problems and have attempted to follow its advice, however, the system setup utility seems not to offer any way to modify the ACPI setting or even the choice of Windows 2000 as an OS. Any suggestions?

access to F10 from POST, enable Advanced mode Ctrl+A and navigate trough System configuration find option for Multiprocessor - verify Settings
