iLO 3 and RIBCL
We are using a Perl script to send commands to the iLO via RIBCL, following the instructions in the manual. This works fine on iLO 2 systems, but the new iLO 3 systems completely ignore the fact that I'm sending them anything. I don't even get an error message back. The only configuration difference I can see between the iLO 2 and iLO 3 systems is that the 2's all have the advanced license, while the 3's are all basic. Is this the difference? If not, can anyone point me in a direction to start looking for why this happens? All new servers this year are going to be 3's and we're kind of counting on this working. Any help appreciated!

Re: iLO 3 and RIBCL
Yes. You need to make sure your iLO is licensed otherwise nothing will work.

Re: iLO 3 and RIBCL
There was a change in the web services in iLO3 so you need an updated locfg.pl script. You can grab the update script from here
