ilo3 keyboard input goes away after 1 pass of POST & boot attempt
Hi,
I have a customer with a pair of DL360g7's, ILO3 V1.26 and 1/28/2011 BIOS. He's doing initial configuration with SSSTK v8.70 but we both noticed that if he:
1. Let's the server go through POST and attempt to boot, cancelling a netboot (it has no disks/servers to boot from).
2. Let's it cycle to the next boot retry. Up till now the keyboard is responsive as it takes "Esc" to cancel network boot.
3. By the time it prompts for "Retrying in 5 seconds", all keyboard input is ignored
4. This is the case no matter how many cycles and remains so until the server is "reset"
What's the deal? How can he keep the keyboard responsive?
This is true using IRC remote access as well as via KVM which happens to be manufactured by Avicent.
Thanks in advance,
