Fetching ILO configuration details from OS.

I am developing a script to populate our CMDB, currently I am unable to get ILO information inside the OS (Windows & *nix)

I think SNMP is a possible solution, but this would require a lot of changes to the configuration to allow a new trap server, this is not a feasible solution.

Is there a better way to achieve what I am trying to do.

Re: Fetching ILO configuration details from OS.

Definitely. Use the the HP Lights-Out Configuration Utility.

This tool can report back current iLO settings into an XML file or just echo to screen.

Good luck!
