HP SIM 5.2 Not Reconizing ESX4.0U1 hosts
Hi All,
I have just rebuilt our ESX hosts to 4.0U1 using HP Insight deployment however they HP SIM does not seem to able to understand the hosts. The systems management page opens perfectly and we have use the same hpmgmt.conf, only difference is the OS changes from ESX 3.5 to 4.0U1 and management agents have moved to 8.40. From the SIM server I can open the management page on the hosts without any issue and it does not ask me for credientials so authentication is working. I am guessing it is something to do with MIB, I have installed the MIB form the following link http://h18000.www1.hp.com/products/servers/management/hpsim/mibkit.html how do i check it installed correctly?
an output is listed below from indentify system:-
Starting identification process...
Checking for known running web servers.
Checking for System Management Home Page and other HP web agents.
Received a response from the system management homepage on the SSL port, this system supports SMH.
