HP SIM and Firewalls (DMZ)
I have HP SIM setup on my network with over 200 serves.
However I cannot get any of the servers on the otherside of the firewall to work. I am able to ping them and SIM shows the hardware status as ok, but can't deploy the software as the connection is refused.
What settings need to be made on SIM and the firewall for this to work?
Thanks in advance for yuor help.

Re: HP SIM and Firewalls (DMZ)
Harry,
Did you see
"Managing HP servers through firewalls with HP Systems Insight Manager 5.0"
ftp://ftp.compaq.com/pub/products/servers/management/hpsim/Ma
nagingHPServers-withHPSIM.pdf
and "Understanding HP Systems Insight Manager Security" http://h10018.www1.hp.com/wwsolutions/misc/hpsim-helpfiles/security5.pdf
Second document contain ports you need for HPSIM/agents.

Re: HP SIM and Firewalls (DMZ)
It helps to see what ports are being dropped on the firewall when you try to perform this function. The firewall whitepaper misses a few ports.
