HP SIM with VMWare VirtualCenter
I have read a lot of threads, but nothing helps.
Can you tell me, how I have to configure SIM to get Informations from my virtual machines.
For example: CPU is on high level?
thx

Re: HP SIM with VMWare VirtualCenter
There are HP Agents that install on the VMWare ESX Host and do the same as they do for Windows Servers.
For Guests you can use the VMM Plug-in.
It is installed by default as part of HPSIM, but is separately licensed and there's a cost.
Or you can configure Virtual Centre to send SNMP Traps back to the HPSIM Server. You'll need to load the VMWare MIBs into HPSIM to decode the SNMP Traps.

Yes I want to configure Virtual Centre to send SNMP Traps. But where I get the VMWare MIBs?

Re: HP SIM with VMWare VirtualCenter
C:\Program Files\VMware\VMware VirtualCenter 2.0\MIBS
You'll need to copy them to the HPSIM MIBs directory and follow then install using mcompile and mxmib.
