Monitoring Server Disk thresholds
I have set Disk thresholds, and know that there are a couple of server which are beyond the thresholds i hace set, however, when i view the tasks results, nothing appears. i have a message in the stdout
"StdoutStderr Could not set the disk threshold, the agent did not accept the request."
What agent needs to be running on the server? how do i get this working?
Thanks in advance

Re: Monitoring Server Disk thresholds
I have now got some servers responding with successful application of the thresholds and i am getting email notification about this, i am unsure as to why the others are not getting applied.
They are all HP Proliant Servers, what else needs to be added to the server to enable this?

Re: Monitoring Server Disk thresholds
Hi Andy,
Just to check:
- Do you have SNMP Sets enabled or disabled on the problem servers
- Is there a read/write or read/create community defined?

Re: Monitoring Server Disk thresholds
I have Set these on the servers that are now responding, but i am unsure what needs to be installed to allow those to happen, as this agent or facility was already installed, just needed configuring.
Thanks
Andy
