Reg HP iLO and SNMP Pass Through

When I am exploring the HP Servers, I came to know about the option called "SNMP Pass Through". I just tried the SNMP requests by enabled this option. I got SNMP responses from iLO. Here, I want to know how this is working internally? Is there any mechanism, like routing the SNMP packets to Host IP? If anyone knows about this , please reply me.
