SIM for IBM hardware

 Hi All,

 

Is it recommended to use HP SIM for an environment of IBM make servers? Also is there a document available if this IBM servers can be monitored through SIM.

If the management software sends SNMP traps you could give it a try, some people use SIM for monitoring Dell servers. Perhaps you'll need some additional mibs from dell depending on your needs.
