HP StorageWorks 20 Modular Smart Array on HP DL320G5

Hi,

Currently looking at using our DL320G5 (2x36Gb SAS Raid-0 on smart array E-200) as file server and would like to hook up our HP StorageWorks 20 Modular Smart Array. The HP StorageWorks 20 Modular Smart Array uses a HP Smart Array 642 HBA PCI-x card but the DL320G5 only has PCI-express slots.

I would like to know what smart array card there is that has the external slot for the VHDCI cable to the MSA20 and will fit in the place of the Smart Array E-200 PCI express slot and will work on the DL320G5

Will drop both 36Gb SAS back down to the in the internal SATA Raid controller

Any suggestions would be great

 MSA20 is supported on Smart Array 6404, Smart Array 6402, Smart Array 642 and the Smart Array 6i Controllers.

Keep in mind this is Ultra320 SCSI, the controllers are PCI-X.

This old chassis needs an old server to work with.
