Backup & Restore
Good Morning Everyone,
We have several HP Proliant servers with one internal 72GB DAT drive on one of the servers. I am using Veritas 9.1 to backup our data daily. I am now looking into Disaster Recovery options to backup and restore a server in the event of a disaster. Should I use the Disaster Recovery option for Veritas or is there a better option? I also wish to rebuild servers remotely if that can be done?
Cheers,
Mark

Re: Backup & Restore
Hi Mark Bayliss ,
fist you try to locally OBDR Process then you can do remotely.
The OBDR Process some Service need to stop and Start the backup. pls, read the Vertias manual and do it.
The Tapeware OBDR PROCESS compare to VERITAS, it is very eassy method.
All The Best
Thanks and Regards
