Compaq DDS4 20/40 GB DAT Drive
I have a Compaq ProLiant ML350 server that came with a Compaq DDS4 20/40 GB DAT Drive.
I installed Windows 2000 Server and the drivers for DAT drive but I don't see anywhere a software that can help me to do back-ups for my data.
Can anyone tell me what software should I use and how can I get it?

Re: Compaq DDS4 20/40 GB DAT Drive
The simplest and free software is NT backup. Go to command line and run 'ntbackup' and you will see. In addition, if you'll look to any windows volume properties and will go to 'tools' tab you will see 'backup your files' tool which actually runs ntbackup

Re: Compaq DDS4 20/40 GB DAT Drive
I have a Proliant ML370 with a 20/40 GB Autoloader. I was not able to use the NT back up. I finally bought ARCserve Backup from Computer Associates. It works but it also took a big chunk out of my IT budget.
