EML TL IM card and Flash memory replacement
Hi All,
I am going to replace IM card and Flash memory of one of my EML TL. In service manual it says it will retains the original configuration after replacement. But I am confued how it is possible. Flash memory of IM card contains the existing configuration if I replace both in one shot how it can be still retained its original configuration. Can anyone have any idea? I do not want to loss my existing configuration.
Best regards,
Rana

Re: EML TL IM card and Flash memory replacement
you can use the save/restore function to save your configuration and restore it in case something is going wrong.
Anywaym the configuration is replicated in various components of the ETLA system. What is not recommanded is to replace more than one component at a time, replacing only one and reboooting the unit will syncronize all the components and preserve the config.
