ESL e series

I was looking into the redundancy factor of an ESL (712e). I noticed that the card cage had a cooling fan; does anyone know if this fan is redundant? If the fan fails does it take down the card cage /library down till the fan is replaced??

Re: ESL e series

This is a 2 fan pack, so I guess it is somehow redundant.

Hope this helps!

Re: ESL e series

It is aredundant fan. If one fan fails the other fan will run in higher RPM to compensate.
