HP Dataprotector mount requests

I having trouble with dataprotector 5.5
for 9 months everything works fine, now dataprotector is giving mount requests almost everytime a backup starts.
this is for the disk library and the MSL tape
I have a job that copies date to tape so I can take it to store elsewhere, dataprotector asks for the tape that is out of the tape unit.
when a tape is not present, when asked for mounting , and I mount the MSL get the cleaning tape.
Sometimes the tape robot is putting tape in and out the tape library and it will not stop,
these are some of the symptons I am dealing with.
I am running dataprotector on a windows 2003 sp2 server, opn a HP blade.
