LTO Tapes
Hi
We are India, Pune based HP's gold premium business partners.
We have supplied new LTO5 C7975 tape media 50 nos. to customer SMS Concast in March.
Now 7-8 media showing a reading and writing error.
Customer wants replacement ASAP because there is backup failure due to media error.
What is HP’s replacement policy for tapes? Website talks about the LifeTime warranty for tapes. Can we know what is meant by Lifetime in this case?
At least, how much warranty is confirmed when we say “Lifetime”?
It says that the end customer needs to go to the place of purchase for the replacement. In this case, we are already talking to our vendor but not getting proper response. They say that Tape warranty is only 90 days which is Not acceptable to us and to the customer.
Please clarify about this.

Re: LTO Tapes
It sounds like thats there(tape suppliers) warranty and not HPE's warranty.
The link below says what the warranty covers
