Moving dataprotector from a 64 bit env to a 32 bit env
Hi,
I am relocating an install of Data Protector 6 from a 64 bit operating environment to a 32 bit operating environment. The install was done locally on the 32 bit machine and then i copied across the configuration data allot of the configuration stuff came across fine , However something in the omniback/db40 folder is preventing the RDS from starting I belive this is to do with it being built on a 64 bit system originally so I guess my question is what are my options ? Is there a way to convert the database on the 64 bit install to work on the 32 bit install ? Or is my only alternative to start the database from scratch again ( definalty not the preferance )
thankyou very much for any assistance anyone can give
Regards,
David
