NSR N1200 FW upgrade problem
Hi ALL,
I have updated the FW on my NSR N1200 to 5.6.69 to try and improve our backups as we are having issues with the MSL600 ( upto date FW using LTT )going off line and we never get a consistant backup
Problem is since i updated the FW (updated using serial cable)on the NSR all the fiber links into the SAN are degraded and the MSL locks up, this also creates lots of event's 1185/9/15 and appeared to crash the cluster.
NSR currently turned off
we have a MSA 1000 with two cluster nodes (standard setup) on the front end and a dedicated backup server with runs the main catalog for Veritas 9.1
Anybody else had the same? or any help in resolving this?

Re: NSR N1200 FW upgrade problem
Not sure if this applies to you, but
last time I checked, those NSRs by default also work as a SCSI initiator and will contact your storage array if you did not separate both by zoning in the Fibre Channel switch.
