SSL2020 and servo\sensor error
I am getting a servo\sensor error on my SSl2020 tape library. This error message is being reported under Arcserve version 9.
At times the tape will not eject using the front panel to unload the drive and the only way to remove the tape is to physically remove the drive from the library and power it up with a PC. I can then eject the tape.
At times it has trouble writing to the media, and when mounting the tapes lately it is not reporting the labels correctly all the time.
Is this an indication of the actual tape drive going south?
Any and all help will be greatly appreciated.
Regards,
Kenn
