1394 net adapter

Hi,

I have installed windows XP on HP Pavilion dv2416us Entertainment Notebook PC.

Under Network Adapters I only see 1394 Net Adapter. But when I give IPCONFIG from command prompt, I get "Windows IP Configuration". No other values are displayed.

Can someone tell me what went wrong? Why am I not seeing the IP address?
