Hp 2848 & RS/6000: load balancing and failover

I want connect some RS6000 (Aix 4.3/5.1/5.2)with 3 100/1000 Mbps ethernet cards to HP 2848.
2 eth cards connected to an HP 2848 for load balancing and the other card to another 2848 for failover. Is it possible ? What requirements about 2848 and Aix ?
