Re: LLDP on Procurve with avaya phones
I did't tag port 2 in vlan 200 manually.
I thought that It should happened via LLDP automatically.
I thought that auto vlan assigned is the primary benefit of LLDP usage for corporate telephone VOIP deployment.
Regards,
Alexey

Re: LLDP on Procurve with avaya phones
for the normal setup you need to tag the port connected to the phone.
you can search in procurve website for application note and implementation between AVAYA and HP switches it will give you all the possible configuration.

Re: LLDP on Procurve with avaya phones
Assuming you have a 9600 phone:
2.7 works with this workaround:
# vlan
# vlan
# vlan
# lldp config
Version 2.9 works without the ...dot1TlvEnable.....

Re: LLDP on Procurve with avaya phones
http://www.procurve.com.sg/docs/one/avaya/appnotes/ProCurve-lldp.pdf
and some brief about setting up the LLDP-MED environment with Avaya is here:
http://h40060.www4.hp.com/procurve/includes/application-notes/index.php?cc=uk&lc=en&content=anc6-en
As mentioned in previous reply, you may want to have the latest firmware on the Avaya phone.
hope that helps!
