ProCurve 5412 logging host source ip question
Hi!
Had an 5412 with some vlans with one IP per vlan. The ProCurve Manager is remote behind an WAN Router. The WAN Router to the PCM is not on the Management VLAN its on the Backbone VLAN.
Problem: If snmp traps or syslog events are sent to PCM the source ip from the backbone vlan of the 5412 is used.
I used the
snmp-server trap-source 10.215.1.1
command to solve this problem.
But there is no "logging log-source" command!
Is there a workaround?
Is it possible to Setup the PCM to accept the different IP Address and assign to correct Switch?
Thanks a lot!
Andreas
