Switch to Switch Connection

Hi guys, this is my first post so sorry if its in the wrong forum.

I've got 2 switches, a 2626-PWR and a 2910al-24G-PoE and I have an issue getting them to connect over a 1000mbps connection.

Firstly, Ive tried this with multiple cables, and cable tested them so I'm sure there's no issue there.

The 2626 is in port 25 going to port 5 on the 2910.  If I have both ports "speed-duplex auto" they do not communicate. If I force either to "speed-duplex auto-100" they connect fine at 100mbps. Also if I force both to auto-1000 they do not communicate.

The running config settings are as follows:

fault-finder bad-driver sensitivity high
fault-finder bad-transceiver sensitivity high
fault-finder bad-cable sensitivity high
fault-finder too-long-cable sensitivity high
fault-finder over-bandwidth sensitivity high
no fault-finder broadcast-storm
fault-finder loss-of-link sensitivity high
fault-finder duplex-mismatch-HDx sensitivity high
fault-finder duplex-mismatch-FDx sensitivity high
