Using HP SIM for management of ProCurve switches
The company I work for uses HP SIM for management of ProLiant Servers. All the servers and switches are from HP.
There is no kind of management of the network itself.
How far can you get with only using HP SIM? I understand that it is possible to configure HP SIM to receive traps from the switches. Is that it?
Does anyone here use only HP SIM for management?

Re: Using HP SIM for management of ProCurve switches
Others have tried this but have never had much success...

I'd be interested if anyone has ever got this working to a usable point.

Thanks! I replied to that thread, hoping that someone participating in it have had more success, and has email notification turned on :-)
