cisco ios and catos

hi,
i have cleared the running configuration of cisco ios in catalyst 4006 series now when i am loging through console i am getting the catos configuration how can i go to the cisco ios so as to reconfigure the switch

You have to download the IOS from the cisco site (which you can only do if you have a maintenance agreement with them and thus an enabled login). Then you do a firmware update using a tftp server. Easier just to use the Cat OS. It's not difficult to figure out. Instead of going to conf t to make a change and saving the changes with a wr me, you just say "set" in front of the command.

What do you want to do? I can probably give you the commands for it.

If you just cleared running-config, then your flash should still be working. Did you use a confreg ? If so, re-do confreg 0x2142, by-pass initial set up and you are in.
Otherwise, tell us what command you entered exactly to 'clear' this configuration, and what does the switch displays exctly at login...
