Add new disk to running machine

Dear all,

I need to add a new harddisk to a running machine (rx3410) and the OS is HP-UX 11iv2. What should I do?

Hi,

If this disk allocation is from the SAN, do a insf / ioscan after the disk allocation and you should see the disk on the system if everything is okay.

for any other type of disk addition the process would depend on what type of disk addition you are talking about.
