Is ther a way to check the mirror status and drive status of the two internal drives of a bl860C if you are NOT by the server.
ex: HP replaced drive i want to verify that they mirror set came back up and all is well, but the chassis is over an hour away?
thanks.

Re: CHecking replacment of hard drive from away
It depends if the drives are mirrored by hardware or software.
Could you send an "ioscan -fn"?
Hope this helps!
Regards
Torsten.

SolutionIt is hardware mirrored (IR = Integrated RAID).
# sasmgr get_info -D /dev/sasd1 -q raid
will tell you like this:
...
---------- LOGICAL DRIVE 4 ----------
Raid Level : RAID 1
Volume sas address : 0x611d224fa12345
Device Special File : /dev/rdsk/c1t10d0
Raid State : OPTIMAL
...
Hope this helps!

Torsten.
