Can not reboot after modified fstab
Today I am setting up C3750 internet connection,
During the setting of internet, I have tried to recovery the system by modify “/etc/fstab”,
But after that it shows error
INIT Command is respawning to rapidly
Will try again in 5 minutes
Check for possible errors
Id: cons “/usr/sbin/getty console console #system console
And I have try to login single user mode, but the the system did not ask me “ to press any key in 10 sec to stop booting “, directly boot the hard disk, then I can not key in any command.
How can I solve this problem?

Re: Can not reboot after modified fstab
The C3750 seems to be a Cisco network switch. Are you askig questions about the switch or about an HP-UX computer? It would really help if you can provide more information about the system you are using.

It doesn't, if, like me, you own a c3700 workstation. Literature
seems to be sparse, but there's a clue here:
http://www8.hp.com/us/en/hp-news/press-release.html?id=170699
PALO ALTO, Calif., Nov. 18, 2002
The HP Workstation c3750 and HP Workstation j6750 are powered by
the latest PA-8700+ processor running at 875 MHz with HP-UX 11.0
and HP-UX 11i 1.0.
My c3700 runs HP-UX 11.11 (when it runs at all).
