Fedora 11 & HP DL360 G5 installation problem
I'm a newbie and installing Redhat Fedora 11 on my brand new HP DL360 G5 server.
I booted the server with Fedora 11 installation DVD and ,when i reach to the HDD partitioning step, i use "Use entire drive" option. There're two drive cciss/c0d0 & cciss/c0d1, both of them are 139GB.
When i click next, there's a small windows showing that it's creating file system on /dev/cciss/c0d0p1 and it keep showing that for 2 days already.
Is there any problem with my installation or my hard drive? normally for creating file system on a new hard drive like my server how long will it take? Is there anyway to make it faster?
I do appreciate for any kindly advice!
Thanks,

Re: Fedora 11 & HP DL360 G5 installation problem
i think its 2 raid 1 groups created but if we installing the server, we always make the configuration with smartstart cd, and them we are going to install linux, mostly redhat/centos.

Re: Fedora 11 & HP DL360 G5 installation problem
i decided to reset the server, went into BIOS, removed the current raids ( it were 2 raid 1) and created 1 raid 5 instead.
Booting up 1 more time wit Fedora 11 DVD, it detects my drives as
cciss/c0d0 419941 MB
and creating file system on /dev/cciss/c0d0p1 now.
Do you know with that HDD size, how long will it take?
