Re: How to link the SMH with ILO2
Both have different purpose.
SMH --> System Management Homepage
ILO --> Server remote management is a necessity for IT organizations of all sizes today as they strive to meet business demands for efficiency and responsiveness. HP has a long record of undisputed leadership in lights-out remote management with Integrated Lights-Out (iLO), an intelligent management processor integrated on most ProLiant servers.
HP remote management gives you virtual presence, i.e. complete control as if you were in front of servers in datacenters or remote sites. This means you are always in control regardless of server status or location. ILO delivers unique remote management simplicity and agility that lowers operational costs, improves IT productivity and increases system availability.
iLO is available in two forms, iLO Standard and iLO Advanced. iLO Standard provides basic system board management functions, diagnostics and essential Lights-Out functionality as standard features on iLO supported ProLiant servers. iLO Advanced provides remote administration functionality as a licensed option.
what I understand from above - We Can use the ILO has Console - access

Re: How to link the SMH with ILO2
>>I would like to integrate the SMH with ILO2.
How to do that.
- SMH used for hp-ux and it is system administration tool.
- Whereas ILO is used for remote management using mangement port. ILO gives capability of remote management.
However smilarity both can work over the webbrowser. There is nothing about integration two are different thing. ILO used in the blade systems for remote management.
Hope this helps.
Raj.

Re: How to link the SMH with ILO2
There is one option in ILO2.
system status --> server status --> general --> system management homepage ---> launch (now it is disabled).
Now i want to enable this, and i want to open the SMH by clicking this launch.
