How to shutdown Windows VM Guest when Virutal machine is stopped

Hi,
I have installed Virtual Machine on HPUX B11.23. I have installed Windows 2003 as guest operating system.
Please inform me how to shutdown "gracefully" the windows guest machine when HPUX machine is shutting down.

you shall need to shutdown all the Guest OS first and then give the shutdown command on the HP-UX host.

Hi Samshen,

From OS perspective, all VM guests are individual and independent server. It has no link with VM host when the OS is up and running. VM host will not have any control over on VM guest operating systems.

So you need to manually shutdown using OS commands before you halt the VM host.
