I have an HP-UX system (11.23) with the following running:
B8724AA A.02.02.01 HP CIFS Client
B8725AA A.02.02 HP CIFS Server
I am being told that the smb.conf is dynamic. I haven't used samba for a couple of years so maybe it is, but when I used it in the past, if any changes were made to the smb.conf file the daemon had to be restarted to re-read the file.
