i have a rp7XXX with HP-UX 11iv2 installed ,
i have changed the value of shmmax to 8561623040 but the option Dynamic still YES ;
But when i view the Usage/Alarms , the Current Settings is different than the Current Value in the Tunnable parameter ,

is that normal ?

I had shmmax changed on an Itanium HP-UX 11.23 server recently and when 'kctune -v shmmax' it shows the following:

What does kctune -v shmmax show on your machine?
