Kernel configurable parameter remain unchanged after process new kernel
We are trying to modify some kernel parameters as given in below table but the problem is:├в After modifying & process new kernel through SAM, Kernel configurable parameter remains unchanged├в . We also reboot the server but no works. I have attached a file which is an example what we have done through SAM for the below parameters.
Beside this ├в lanscan├в command didn├в t show any output & during taking nickel it shows some error which is attached with this mail. If you need more information, please let me know
Note: Model of this server is RP3440 & OS version B.11.11

Re: Kernel configurable parameter remain unchanged after process new kernel
Hi Dear,
You may do the following:
SAM --> kernel configuration --> Configurable parameters --> Then we have to select any parameters (Ex: maxvgs) by clicking sapce bar --> Action --> Modify configurable parameters--> Now we have to enter the new value in "Formula / Value ---------"---> then Action --> Apply tuned parameter set (For applying new changes) ---> process new kernel (It will backup old kernel like "vmunix.prev" & "system.prev" and build the new kernel like "vmunix" & "system".
Rdgs,
M.Hassan
