OK guys, I did not believe it so I did search on why...
Pete is right, fsadm can be used to enable largefiles without onlinejfs and without unmounting the file system in almost everysingle version of the OS starting since 10.00.
Where we all simple people got confused... is documentation points out that the file system should be unmount when it refers to a HFS file system, everytime that it comes to vxfs it can be done on the fly.
That is like the third mistake that I do today in the morning, forgive all, but it's Friday... :-)
