New setup of 2 RX3600 HP-UX v23 integrity servers with EMC Clariion
1. Navisphere - is so do I need hp-ux agents
2. SnapView - If I want bcv's - is there agents for hp-ux or is this done from Navisphere
3. Powerpath - Do I need Agents for hp-ux
Final Question - any know approxiamete prices for the above

if you want connect a HP-UX to the clariion,
you need to install naviagent, and if you need make some operation directly from the box, navicli ( now naviseccli ).
Powerpath is cool software, but only with a EMC products, from a version 5, doesn't support other vendor products ( hitachi/HP ... ), checked in december 2008, maybe somebody in EMC made a change in Support policy => Check support on powerlink.emc.com
On our production SAP cluster, we don't use powerpath now, switch to PV links, powerpath doesn't support Hitachi box.

3, powerpath don't need any agent, after installation is the kernel rebuild required = reboot.
