SAP backup error allocating device, SBT_TAPE

Dear all,

We are facing problem in SAP online backup to TSM drive while firing the backup the error will appearing like error allocating device, SBT_TAPE screen shot also attached.

Kindly help me to shot out the issue.

OK, so I don't know SAP, use TSM, or work with oracle, but did you notice in the oracle errror message *you* noted, that it said

"...device: " and didn't name a real device?

Looks like "TSM" - IBM,

I hope you will not get much advice from this forms -its for only HPUX

do you have any TSM - ADMIN - Backup Admin

Either you choice - You need work with "TSM - Tivoli Backup Admin, or DBA
