model.orig hp2200 page overflow

we use the following settings in our model.orig file length="def"

this works for all of our printes to put the data on one page. with the hp2200 it prints on 1 and a half pages. we are printing landscape. it appears to be putting a lot of space beteen the printed lines. Any Ideas ?
