moving LSI/IBM disk array

We have an LSI disk array. I'm currently using it attached to a PA system.

We have new IA systems and I want to move the disk array. We tried a test-run today and it did not work. We are following steps in the "Administering a System: Managing Disks and Files" page 584-585 "Moving Disks across System". On the new system command 'ioscan -fun -C disk' showed that the array was attached but there were no device files listed.

I don't have any other indications in the documentation I have, it looks like the array should just show up.

Is there something I should do with the array management tool to get the array to talk? Any ideas?

Thanks!

Re: moving LSI/IBM disk array

Hello,

Try :

ioscan -fnC disk
insf -e

If there is no disk, verify your zoning in FC switch.
