ntp on hpux10.20

My network's primary NTP server is running hpux 10.20, and I have a client on the network (non-Unix) which is sending NTP v3 requests to the timeserver but is not getting a response. Does anyone have any ideas of where to start? ALL of my Unix machines get their time from this server just fine, so I'm thinking it's a client problem. Is xntpd on HPUX 10.20 ok with v 3 requests?

The 10.20 Version od xntpd is Version 3 which makes it downwardly compatible with both Version 1 and 2 requests.

Have this client try some of the Internet time sources; he will probably have the same problem.

Have you checked the Firewall?

Thanks, actually there's not a firewall between my ntp server and this client.
